The meat must comply with EU rules to satisfy the conditions set out in the agreed health certificate.

Exports can take place from slaughterhouses, cutting plants, processing plants and cold stores approved by DAFM for handling that particular species.

Import requirements should be verified with the consignee prior to shipping.
