In 2023 Ireland exported approximately 740 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €2.09 m

In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 1,364 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €4.00 m

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 776 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €2.17 m

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 420 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €1.19 m

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 746 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €2.18 m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 960 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €2.39 m

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen Pigmeat

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The supplementary certificate is for Pigmeat

  • Exports can take place from all establishments approved by DAFM to handle Pigmeat

TRADE:

In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 756 tonnes of beef valued at €4.07 m

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 489 tonnes of beef valued at €1.88 m

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 543 tonnes of beef valued at € 2.46 m

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 1,179 tonnes of beef valued at €4.21 m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 141 tonnes of beef valued at €0.55 m

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Frozen boneless beef and frozen bovine offal.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of beef to Trinidad and Tobago. That said, Trinidad and Tobago seem to be one of the countries that accept exports of beef from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible beef products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.

In 2022 Ireland exported 13 tonnes of Sheepmeat valued at €0.09 m

In 2021 Ireland exported 3 tonnes of Sheepmeat valued at €0.02 m

2020 no exports recorded.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 12 tonnes of Sheepmeat valued at €0.11 m
