CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for Meat and Meat Products and includes meat and meat products of poultry (it is understood that both bone-in and boneless poultry meat /poultry meat products may be exported).

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 40 tonnes of beef valued at €0.20 m. 

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 40 tonnes of beef valued at €0.37 m.

In 2018 Ireland opened an export market for beef to Qatar  

 

Certification Arrangements: The certificate covers boneless beef and/or beef products derived from animals which must not exceed 30 months of age at the time of slaughter.

  • The meat must be slaughtered in an establishment approved by this Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) and which is monitored by an official veterinarian of this Department. 
  • The meat must be derived from animals which must not exceed 30 months of age at the time of slaughter.
