In 2025 Ireland exported approximately 1 tonne of poultry valued at €0.04 m.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen poultry cuts and offal. 

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for Meat and Meat Products and includes meat and meat products of poultry (it is understood that both bone-in and boneless poultry meat /poultry meat products may be exported).  

Exporter T & Cs 

• The meat must be obtained from poultry that were slaughtered and the meat handled at establishments approved by the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM).

TRADE:

In 2024 Ireland exported approximately 52 tonnes of beef valued at €0.47 m. 

In 2023 Ireland exported approximately 109 tonnes of beef valued at €1.18 m. 

In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 24 tonnes of beef valued at €0.20 m. 

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 40 tonnes of beef valued at €0.20 m. 

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 40 tonnes of beef valued at €0.37 m. 

2018-2019 no exports are recorded. 

In 2018 Ireland opened an export market for beef to Qatar  

Certification Arrangements: The certificate covers boneless beef and/or beef products derived from animals which must not exceed 30 months of age at the time of slaughter.

• The meat must be slaughtered in an establishment approved by this Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) and which is monitored by an official veterinarian of this Department. 
• The meat must be derived from animals which must not exceed 30 months of age at the time of slaughter.

Certification Arrangements: The certificate covers sheep meat and sheep meat products, both boneless and bone in Sheep meat product are eligible.
