CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS:

The certificate is for meat products derived from the following species of domestic animals or farmed game: bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine, equidae, poultry, biungulates, swine, birds, rabbits or other leporidae

EXPORTER T&C’S:

  • No age restriction
  • Exports can take place from DAFM approved establishments
  • Origin - The fresh meat used in the manufacture of the meat products must originate from animals slaughtered in an EU approved plant in Ireland and which were identified under EU legislation and came from registered holdings
  • The meat product must not contain MSM derived from ruminants (the use of MSM derived from ruminants is banned in Serbia);
  • If the meat product contains MSM of poultry or porcine origin, the content of calcium in mechanically separated meat must not be more than 0.1% (100 mg/ 100gr or 1000ppm).
  • The treatment method must meet one of the specified standards laid down in the certificate.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Fresh/Frozen Pigmeat.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for fresh meat of domestic swine.

EXPORTER T&C’S: 

  • Exports can take place from all establishments approved by DAFM to handle pigmeat
  • The animals must have remained in the country of origin since birth or for at least the last 3 months before slaughter.  Other specific conditions relating to farm disease freedom also apply.
