TRADE:

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 557 tonnes of beef valued at €0.382 m.

In 2017 Ireland exported approximately 254 tonnes of beef valued at €0.189 m.

In 2016 Ireland exported approximately 757 tonnes of beef valued at €0.573 m.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen boneless beef and frozen bovine offal

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of beef to Mozambique. That said, Mozambique seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of beef from Ireland on the basis of the general export health certificate.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises

In 2016 Ireland exported approximately 50 tonnes of Sheepmeat valued at €0.030 m.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Edible offal of sheep, goats, horses, asses, mules or hinnies, frozen

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of Sheepmeat to Mozambique. That said, Mozambique seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of Sheepmeat from Ireland on the basis of the general export health certificate.
