TRADE:

In 2023 Ireland exported approximately 226 tonnes of beef valued at €0.23m.

In 2022 Ireland exported approximately 723 tonnes of beef valued at €0.86 m.

In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 600 tonnes of beef valued at €0.60 m.

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 655 tonnes of beef valued at €0.51 m.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 400 tonnes of beef valued at €0.34 m.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 325 tonnes of beef valued at €0.25 m.

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen boneless beef and frozen bovine offal.

 

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: Ireland does not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of beef to Liberia. That said, Liberia seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of beef from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible beef products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 151 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €0.07 m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 59 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €0.07 m

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Exclusively frozen poultry cuts and offal.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for Poultry meat.

EXPORTER T&C’S: 

  • Exports can take place from all establishments approved by DAFM.

We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of Sheep meat to Liberia. That said, Liberia seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of Sheep meat from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible Sheep meat products.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 49 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.022 m.

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen Pigmeat.
