TRADE:

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 25 tonnes of Poultrymeat meat valued at €0.021 m

In 2017 Ireland exported approximately 8 tonnes of Poultrymeat meat valued at €0.004 m

In 2016 Ireland exported approximately 51 tonnes of Poultrymeat meat valued at €0.055 m

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Mainly frozen poultry cuts and offal .

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of Poultrymeat to Congo (Democratic Republic). That said, Congo Democratic Republic seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of Poultrymeat from Ireland on the basis of the open poultrymeat health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible Poultrymeat products

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the open poultrymeat health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.

TRADE:

In 2017 Ireland exported approximately 152 tonnes of beef valued at €0.128 m.

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Meat and Offal of Bovine animals

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: Exports can take place on the basis of a commercial document issued by the Food Business Operator (FBO)

EXPORTER T&C’S: The products must be exported from plants that are approved by Ireland under the European Community’s Food and Feed hygiene legislation. These can either be plants approved by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) or else plants approved by Local authorities and/or the HSE.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of Pigmeat to Congo (Dem Rep). That said, Congo (Dem Rep) seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of Pigmeat from Ireland on the basis of the general export health certificate.
