In 2022 - 2023 Nil exports recorded.

 In 2021 Ireland exported approximately 100 tonnes of beef valued at €0.13 m

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 74 tonnes of beef valued at €0.07m.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 220 tonnes of beef valued at €0.19 m.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 151 tonnes of beef valued at €0.13 m

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Frozen boneless beef and frozen bovine offal.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of beef to Congo. That said, Congo seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of beef from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible beef products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.

In 2020 Ireland exported approximately 50 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.04 m.

In 2019 Ireland exported approximately 26 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.01m

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 147 tonnes of Pigmeat valued at €0.13m.

 

 

PRODUCTS EXPORTED: Frozen pig offal.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: We do not have a bilaterally agreed certificate for the export of Pigmeat to Congo. That said, Congo seems to be one of the countries that accept exports of Pigmeat from Ireland based on the general export health certificate.

The export health certificate covers edible Pigmeat products.

EXPORTER T&C’S: The meat must satisfy the conditions set out in the general export health certificate and must be handled in DAFM-approved premises from slaughter through to boning, packing, storage and consignment.

In 2018 Ireland exported approximately 25 tonnes of Poultry meat valued at €0.03m

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: The certificate is for Poultry meat products to Congo.

 

EXPORTER T&C’S:

  • Exports can take place from all establishments approved by DAFM.
  • The poultry must be slaughtered, and the meat prepared in an establishment and must be exported from a DAFM approved premises.
