For 2019, CSO data indicate that Ireland exported 15,277 tonnes of dairy produce with a value of € 53.1 million to Japan

In 2018, CSO data indicate that Ireland exported 12,169 tonnes of dairy produce with a value of €41 million to Japan.

For 2017, CSO data indicate that Ireland exported 8,657 tonnes of dairy produce with a value of €30 million to Japan.

For 2016, CSO data indicate that Ireland exported 5,193 tonnes of dairy produce with a value of €14.9 million to Japan.

CERTIFICATION ARRANGEMENTS: Trade in dairy products to Japan from Ireland is on the basis of the following certificate types;

• Public and Animal Health and Veterinary statements from Milk Policy Division's (MPD's) Menu of Statements.
• Applicants select from MPD's Menu of Statements to satify country requirements. However, custom and usage have set some precedents.
